I took apart my COMAND 2.0 unit yesterday after the display showed that it couldn't read the CD any longer. I followed the guide on http://mercupgrades.com/Comand+2+0+Servicing+and+Disassembly-article-20.html and I cleaned the parts including the laser lens (not taking the lens mechanism apart...
