recall

new eclass 250cdi into dealer for first A service today and told recall / update required for Command. Takes 3 hours to update and they ran out of time hence car rebooked for next month. Anyone know what this update actually does?

Can anybody help me out with some info on a supposed recall of R230 SL's with regards to SRS lights and wiring issues? Basically the SRS light has come on the dash and we have been told by a man who worked for Mercedes back in 2004 and he told us it is on due to a wiring issue in the drivers...

I was looking on the net and typed in 271 150 2733 (cam magnet loom mod cable) and on an American web site it came up that there is a recall over there, the campaign number is 2009100001. Has anyone else discovered this? They replace both cables and both magnets I wonder if we`ll ever see it...

Been advised by my local MB dealer that a recall has been issued on my 55's fuel pump and most likely it will be replaced. Just thought ide share with other as im not not sure wether others models are affected but its worth phoning in to ask. Andy

Just had a letter to recall my car. Appears that they are recalling V6 engines, don't know whether it is just the 320 or not. The Crankshaft sensor is the culprit and is to be changed. Recall number P117. Booked mine in next week when a loan car is available.
