Length of ownership = 5 months
Mileage = 2398 miles
Miles since last report = 350 miles
MPG = 19.8 mpg (18.70 mpg calculated)
Faults = Minor buzz from the Instrument Binnacle
Well it's been a bit of a quiet one this month. I've only driven 350 miles in the last month, which is pathetic...
I came across this and dont know if its been posted but might be useful for those indulging in buying new tyres.

Length of ownership = 4 months
Mileage = 2048
MPG = 20.2mpg (18.65mpg calculated)
(new) Faults = None
So now I'm another month into C63 ownership and thought it time to reflect on a couple of aspects of the car that I've really noticed.
Engine braking
This car has serious amounts of...
Length of ownership = 3 months
Mileage = 1660
MPG = 19.9mpg (18.82mpg calculated)
(new) Faults = None
Just a short one this month, but not to worry as I've already pre-written a load more for next month's report. This will be bolstered by my experiences with the car going into MB for it's...
Length of ownership = 2 months
Mileage = 1297
MPG = 20.2mpg (19.11mpg calculated)
Faults = Various rattles
So I've had the C63 for just over 2 months now, but have only covered a pitiful 1300 miles. I don't use it as my daily driver, and have been away on holiday, but it's still no great...
I thought I'd take the time to start and maintain a monthly running report of my C63. I appreciate it's not of interest to many, but perhaps it may help out the odd person who's looking to make the move to MB or indeed to an AMG. So here goes:
Length of ownership = 1 month
Mileage = 560...

Well I got the car last Friday from MB Wakefield they have been fantastic from ordering to collection, apart from the slight pressure to pick it up before end of June I did turn that into my advantage to get more freebies.
So the car, its the first time i have owned a 2 seater and so far I...

i know this is a bit of an obscure question, humour me if at all possible please. :)
if the police received a report of bad driving, but not dangerous/life threatening nor high speed, would they act on it? no CCTV in the area where it occurred but possibly more than 1 witness to the event. it...
On the sliproad from M62 for northbound M6 was some lorry tyre debris. I tried 111 but it appears that the service is not enabled in that area :doh: It gives an 0845 number to call but as I was driving, that option was not feasible (would have needed to write number down then enter it on a...
Feel free to tl;dr me :)
This post is bought to you by a delayed train journey into work.
Stripped out W209 CLK55 AMG. The perfect blend of road and track? Or flawed at both?
Now I find myself without a modified car for the first time in 10 years. And with less than 100bhp for the first...
Just been the subject of some road rage. A driver slammed on the anchors in front of me, presumbaly to stop and go to a cash point. There was no use of indicators and the stop was abrupt so on passing I looked over to see what sort of person was driving.
Maybe it was the way I looked over. He...
I have just done an ESS report prior to booking a B service and there is no mention of spark plug replacement. The car is 5 1/2 years old and has covered 27k. Does this mean the plugs are not required or does the ESS system not list items such as plugs, transmission fluid etc ?
I have just had the free winter health check at local dealer and there are a couple of points which they have high-lighted.
I don't know if they are significant and need immediate attention or if I can live with them any advice wud be greatly appreciated

I thought I had seen it all!
Tonight on my way home I was on the M25 heading clockwise from Heathrow. Traffic was slow but after the M3 started to speed up. I was in the middle lane the traffic was travelling at around 60mph. In my rear view mirror I noticed a black Audi A6 Avant (I got the...
Just had the 60k major service (£200...very good!) and a long vehicle inspection (£50) at main dealer.
I'd be grateful if an SL guru had a chance to look through the list below and point out any horrors. Not asking for you to contradict the dealer but nice for my background knowledge to know...
Does anyone know whether I should be able to get a four gas analysis diagnostic report done at any mot centre, or do I need to go to mercedes specialist/dealer??
I have a CLK 230K and need the report to try and cover warranty on failed cat converter.
Help please, starting to pull my hair out...

Hi,
I see many threads about the SRS Warning light on this forum. I seems there could be several root causes. I have a report from my local garage. I was hoping someone out there could decipher these codes. My garage is not a Mercedes specialist, so I'll need to give...
