rests or rollover

Hi, I have a problem with the rear headrests in that they are extended to the limits ie touching the roof in my 2001 Clk 230 convertible and although I have looked on line and in the owners manual to get them down I am having no joy. I have tried the pushing the switch for 8 secs with no luck...
