reverse lights

Hi All, My first post! My recently acquired E220 coupe has no reverse lights. The connector at the neutral safety switch is clean as a whistle, it has six pins which baffled me. I had only expected to see four. Could somebody help with identifying the pins for me? Any other suggestions...
