The funny little plastic "w" shaped clip that keeps my cubby hole lid from popping up has broken on one side of the "w" if this makes sense. Going over bumps now results in the lid opening unexpectedly :(

missus trapped the seatbelt in the drivers door and destroyed the door closed sensor. how easy is this to replace? cant figure out how to get the trim off on th inside. i guess this needs to come of to change the sensor?
anyone know where i can find a part number for the sensor?

As above really, when I click the shut down button the laptop just seems to hang and the only way I can switch it off is to hold down the power button.
Obviously when I come to use the laptop again it goes through the whole scan disk process.
Apart from leaving my girlfriend on the laptop...

I am running XP on my home system and have found over the last month it has been very slow to shut down. Some times taking a minute sometimes nearer to 10!!!
I have run Virus, Spyware and Reg software which has flagged and fixed various "problems" but it still has not sped up the shut...
Tonight GM has announced that it is to shut 4 plants producing SUVs and concentrate more on car production. All due they say to petrol hitting $4 per US gallon. (That's about £2-10p per English Gallon)
Meanwhile today I paid 132.9p per litre, which is just about £6 per English gallon.
Does any one know if all the '500' engines after a certain year had the cylinder shut off technology, where the engine uses only 4 of the cylinders when not on full load ?
Or was this an optional extra ?
Pretty sure the CL has it as it gives really good MPG on the motorway whilst cruising...
