Can anyone recommend me a supplier of plantation shutters ?

Does anyone know, is there a shutter type mechanism on digital cameras? My camera starts up ok, full menu functions but does not take pictures and the screen is black with a little light as though it is on, if that makes sense. If I put a card with pictures on into the camera, I can view the...
