Trieds a search to see who sells replacement door sill trims but all it comes up with is the 'illuminated' ones. Does anyone know where I can purchase normal new ones from?? Thanks.

Hi everyone New to all this. I've got a 1982 W123 240D and I'm getting it back on the road after it's been parked up for a number of years. I need to get an inner sill (passenger side) and some other bits and pieces. Where should I start looking? Thanks Brendan

Anyone got a fill set as mine have become a bit tatty, and the MB Dealer seems to think they are gold plated with the prices they are quoting!!

Does anyone know if there's a suitable after market sill protector available. I don't have the easy-pack option, but I'd find the protector very useful. I've seen a couple on eBay, but they don't look that practical.

The inserts appear to be foil covered plastic and they're cracked and lifting, I've searched the forums and I see that a couple of members 'Burdy' and 'clever dicky' have fabricated these from stainless steel but for other models, not a W124. I don't have the post count yet to email them...

Hi, can anyone help me to locate sills for my w123 estate without having to go to mb. are the saloon sills the same length as these seem available at reasonable prices. Likewise wheel arche replacements although i thought i may have a go at making these myself. many thanks

Is it a door sill? Talking about the plastic cover in the picture here. How does it come off (without breaking it!) as it feels pretty snug.....

The illuminating door sill on the drivers side doesnt work. Which is annoying as the passanger side looks great. Both sills work when connected to the passenger side. Which leads me to believe it is a faulty inverter. BUT I cant locate it.:confused: Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...
