The thread on Patrick Moore and the moon landings (or not) have reminded me that tonight is the peak for the Geminids meteor shower. Should be good viewing conditions (as long as the sky is reasonably clear) as the moon will still be quite dark. Radiant is around Castor, and from midnight...
