Does anyone have any recommendations regarding replacement of the cats on my R129 2000 SL320. I appreciate genuine parts are probably best but the price is a little steep. I didn't know if anyone has fitted aftermarket ones which were still a good fit? :)

...well today saw me complete the following jobs at my local Indy; #diff oil change #new steering damper, old one was shot,floppy as wet string! #new front roll bar bushes x 4; old ones were hard and well worn. All parts were very reasonably priced at my local MB dealer... Wheels go...

...whilst removing the ctec charger last night I noticed the black pipe that I assume takes water away from the roof? Anyway, the pipe rests on the drain hole rather than fully inserting in the hole? How should it sit? Thank you.

Hello everyone, I have a 1998 V6 sl320, 120 000 miles and runs like a bird except yesterday, after 100 miles & lunch, started the car and it felt like it was running on just three cylinders. Drove it 25 miles to a garage before switching it off again (just in case it wouldn't start again...)...
