    320 CDI, Kick down, is it slowing me down?

    The amount of time it seems to take my car to kick down then accelerate when I boot it makes me wonder if removing the kick switch from the accelerator pedal may improve things. Has anyone done this, are there any implications?

    Click on something and it takes for ever to load or change. Is this something to do with the 'cache' needing cleared and, if so, how? Or is there something else I could do?
