Yesterday in a fit of uncharacteristic madness I gave the car a good thrashing on the way to work. Unfortunately when the revs approached the red line, the car produced A LOT of black smoke. I mean so much so that you couldn't see anything in the rear view mirror (a touch embarrasing :( )...

have noticed when sitting in traffic my clk320 tends to emit far more white smoke than other cars dependant on weather conditions, firstly what exactly is it and secondly has anyone else noticed this on their cars? cheers s
