My R171 2006 SLK caught a puncture last night and when I went to get the spare I realised it was deflated and had a small compressor to pump it up.
I have since read that some spare tyre kits also come with some tyre sealant - but mine only had the pump.
The question is: Can I deflate it...
Hello
Returned home from work and father in law has used wife's car and in some odd reversing manoeuvre has scuffed the side and broke the centre cap ?
I've just been out to polish it and it looks better but need a new centre cap as the stars snapped off :(
Thank you
hi all just a quick question is this an original spare for a 1999 clk 220 komp? just wondering as this is what mine came with. brand new and unused its never been out the boot so the last owner said.
A year ago I bought a Demonstration (2009) C200 Kompressor SWagon in Stuttgart. I am a retired female with absolutely no interest in cars other than to get from A to B. I never even looked in the boot, and when I had a puncture I was appalled to find this teeny hairspray can and no spare. I...
See photo attached:
There is a connector dangling from the loom attached to nothing. There is nothing in the area that it could connect to, and I can't see anything obvious on the wiring diagrams.
The car runs fine.
Any ideas
I have an '06 w164 320cdi. It has, I am told, a 7g auto box. It has been determined that the "Valve Body" under the gear box needs replacing, so I left it with a dealer and was told a maximum of two weeks.
Phone call 2 weeks later tells me that MB UK has told him it will be delivered on the...
Hi everyone, I am new to the forum. I have introduced my self on the new members section recently. I wonder if any one can give me some advice please. I have just bought a c180, and somehow it is missing a spare key. I have heard,(but yet to have it confirmed) that you can save a small fortune...

1993 MERCEDES 320 CE AUTO BLACK on eBay (end time 06-Feb-11 20:31:39 GMT)
I am on a tight budget. My car needs 2 more front tyres.
My genius idea is to use the 10 yr old original (Continental or Micheline, can't remember) spare and buy a single new one of the same make.
I know rubber degrades, but this tyre has had a literally stress free life and I drive gently...
I have recently bought a W210 E55 - but unfortunately it is missing its spare wheel..............can anybody tell me if it should be a full size alloy, or, is it one of the "black" spare wheels similar to the one I had in my CLK?
Obviously I'd like to replace ASAP!
Thanks in advance for...
I bought a used E500 coupe from a main dealer in England. The car only had one key and the spare was to follow later.
107 days later I had a spare that worked. It was a technical issue.
BP sorted out their technical issue in 103 days. The Chilean miners had their technical issue sorted in 69...
As I said in another thread, other half got a flat the other day. she tried to put the spare on ( she's handy like that!) and it wouldn't go over the brake calipers!
My spare is just a steel wheel, time to buy a wheel that fits!
