On my Toyota and Renault, the spark plugs needs to be chaged by mileage only, not time - 36k in the case of the Renault, and 63k (probably translated from 100k KM) on the Toyota which has the Iridium plugs. In fact tha Toyota is now 12 years old and due to low mileage (40k) is still on the...
Hi folks,
would like to get your thoughts and whether I need to worry!
My mother has recently bought an A170SE Auto on a 55 plate (W169) and was due a service. Booked the service at the local MB dealer (had a bad experience with local indy on my own car thought I'd play safe and go with...
Hi All,
I'm going to attempt to change the spark plugs on my w202 C280.
I've read a number of threads, watch some utube videos and studied WIS.

Problem occurred twice whilst driving (lost all power) but car re-started immediately, unfortunately now it's gone terminal! No warning lights on dash - don't know if any error messages have been generated (don't have a reader).
Suspect Crankshaft Sensor or Immobiliser is faulty.
Whilst cranking...
I've done a search, and can't see any answers, so...

Hi
I have been reading about Engine Oils over the last few days and ive come to the conclusion that ESTER Engine Oil would be a wise buy for my C230 Kompressor.

Hey guys.
I'll be looking to change my spark plugs soon.
I can get a set of plugs that MB would use during a service, but I was wondering if I should be going for some uprated plugs.
Are there plugs that are better than others?
I know that you can get platinum tipped plugs, but I'm not too...

Hi

Thanks in advance forum.
A150 (W169) Spark Plug Removal
Can anyone advise how to remove spark plug covers on a 2005 A150. I presume there may be a special tool, but I cannot locate one (in UK) on the web. Any advice greatly appreciated.

I bought my 1999 W202 in order to save money.
OK, you can stop laughing now. I was wrong about that but I still reckon the long-run costs will not be vastly greater than those of a second-hand Golf. But if they are to be kept down I'm going to have to do a lot of the maintenance work...
