As the title says, I'm looking for a sump pan for an M103 3.0l engine. Anyone have one buried at the back of the garage or loft, they don't need?

I put in 6 litres of oil instead of 5.5litres into an 1800 c.c. w202 c180. Do I have to drain off the extra half litre ? will it do any harm if I leave it as it is? I have been told that too much oil in sump can damage your engine

Went to do an oil change on my 190E, all ready to go, got on the ground socket in hand only to find some fool had put the sump nut on with such force the head of the nut was a cylinder and same fool did so without putting a copper washer behind the nut :mad: - end of rant. Tryed everything...

guys The W124 is to have her first service under my ownership, currently there's 111K on the Odo. I believe I've read an argument for removing the sump and taking out any sludge - once in a blue moon. what the current recieved wisdom on this? thanks Steve :confused:
