Hi! Any recommendation for a cheap and effective Screen protector for TomTom Go and where to get it? Thanks.

For my Birthday my wife bought me a PDA with Akron GPS mount. With the PDA I had the last version of Tomtom with speed camera detector put on and the latest AA navigation. I spent the weekend in South wales and drove down using the Tomtom, I found the tomtom excellent, clear speed camera...

I had some trouble obtaining this earlier, so i have temporarily uploaded it to the MBClub webspace if any of you want it. If you feel this is an inappropriate usage, pm me or just delete it.

Hi... Long shot really.... does anyone have any French maps for TomTom 3.0, I have the maps that come on the V3.0 CD but they are only major roads in Europe... What I'm looking for is the more detailed version for France... Can anyone help??

Hi chaps, i have just bought a Toshiba e740 Pocket Pc and The tom tom software to go with it. Pocket Pc specs say 64mb of Ram, but i can only load the london map (16mb), anything else, the 32 and 64 mb maps of the uk dont load, says not enough disc space.... Obviously i need more RAM for...

I'm thinking of buying a TomTom Go unit, not for any particular reason apart from the fact that I like gadgets!! It's around £400 and I was wondering, as I know bugger all about these, is there anything else on the market that's significantly better for around the same price. Thanks Col

Sorry the pics are a little crap. The concrete wall in front of the car was upsetting the auto mode of my camera and I have no idea how to use the manual modes. Anyway, this is where I have installed the TTG in the Crossfire. Works great!

Have just been given an HP5550 as a pressie. Has anyone tried using this as a GPS with TomTom 3 software. I want to use bluetooth to avoid the wiring issue. is there a recomended kit? :cool:

Anyone bought a TTG yet? Almost got one yesterday whilst looking for Stonehenge, however decided to wait and get one on line at a discount price. Dabs are doing 12 month interest free for £430 which seems much better than PCWorld's £499. Just interested to see if anyone has had any experience...
