Now the weather is a little cooler, I am noticing when I start my 6 month old C220 CDTI from cold, say first thing in the morning, that it sounds a little knocky perhaps? Only for 5 seconds or so. Is this normal. Now covered around 7k miles. Oil level is ok. Any comments appreciated.

Just had the front pads replaced on my 57 W211 and all works and stops fine. Thing is when I press the peddle and stop the car if I keep my foot on the brake I can push it all the way to the floor. I can't remember if it done it before replacement. Instinct says it shouldn't do it. Thanks
