Hi, I've been offered a set of 19x9.5" AMG wheels from a CLS with a ET of 22 for a really good price, will these go on my CL500 or is et22 a bit of a squeeze?
Thanks
Hi All,
Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later - my CL has finally given me a problem! after a year and 4 months tho, I think its managed to surprise me by not breaking down earlier!
So - last week on friday I got to the car, opened the boot using my Keyless Go and then tried to shut...
So after a year of sensible, economic driving, ive decided the Bimmer onezie wasn't for me and it didn't really do anything for me either. With my work being almost 100% based at my new office at home, I have only done 7k in the last 13 months, so I think I can just about justify something a bit...
Hello,
I picked up my CL500 yesterday and everything on it works fine apart from the keyless go - at first i thought it was naffed as we've had a few problems with it on SL's before but this one doesn't seem to even bring up a warning on the dash when I try it and when i press the button on...
I have a 2001 CL500 with the older style Comand which has now lost the TV function due to the signal being turned off. Has anyone actually upgraded their similar system to operate using an aftermarket digital TV.
My CL500 (MY2000) had a flat battery while camped at Silverstone for the MotoGP last weekend (like an idiot I sat for ages watching TV for the first time - it doesn't work where I live), and as the AA weren't likely to want to drive against all the traffic and come and find me, I had no option...

18 months ago I bought a 2001 CL600 (W215), after deciding this was the ultimate 2 door luxury car on the market. My dilemma now is this:
Do I spend fortunes in the dealership keeping this in good condition, making expensive repairs as parts age and electronics retire, or
Do I start...
I posted about this in the electrics section, but it really should be under bodywork, as the electrics in my parktronic are fine.
However one of its 'eyes' has been pushed in, and Ive no idea how to remove the strip (front) that they are pushed into. I'm sure its not rocket science, but I...
One of my Cl's eyes has been poked out! I found while I was washing the car that one of the front parkronic sensors has been pushed back and is loose on its hole.
Slow corners give me red lights and a loud squawk as the parkatronic kicks in a low speed, and the sensor drifts behind the...
Hi, first post.
Does anyone know where I can buy the internals for a W215 wing mirror - I'd rather not buy a whole wing mirror as the cover for mine is fine.
Any help much appreciated!
Thanks,
Ed
Hi - can someone point me in the direction of a brochure for the CL. in particular i'm interested in any info on the 2004 model (CL65)
Thanks a lot
Gareth
Not a problem as such, as I can't see me ever going over 130mph, but that's as far as the speedo lights up under normal driving, ie the 130 to 160 bit stays unlit. Nothing wrong with the display as such - with the ignition off, but the car unlocked, it all lights up.
If I use the speed...
