Well its been in "the Plan" for a while to change out my headbolts for the Weistec ARP studs as my engine number falls into the effected range (Pretty much any pre-facelift car).
After several discussions with Acid and Weistec and plenty trawling through the American forums i opted for changing...

Today we finally got delivery of the Weistec Down down the the 45s.
We will be fitting this to a car sometime this week and will be doing testing on a stock car to see the power gains on the Dyno.
Then We will be doing some fine tuning on our Tunes boxs to see what the end results will...

One of the pulleys bearings went last week so Paul @ EC sorted me out a new pair. Fitted and touch wood with a new Continental supercharger belt fitted today. Hopefully that's enough of belt shredding.
New map uploaded and logging underway. Great spin out for 60 miles...
As many know over the past 7 months I've had many issues after the Eurocharged Stage 3 install. Some just plain bad luck and some plain and outright carelessness :crazy:
Latest issue was the shearing of the Supercharger Pulley.
Before this was belt snapping after 400 miles, crank pulley...

As most will be aware I took the plunge and upgraded from the Stage 1 Weistec Supercharger to Stage 2.
The difference between stage 1 and stage 2 consists of the following:
A smaller pulley (now runs with 8Psi instead of 6Psi)
It requires Long tube headers ( 4 branch manifold) so I now have...

After the Dyno runs of last week we noticed that although the first runs IAT was normal at low 40's they peaked up to high 70's and didn't fall back below 50 degrees C, second run started at around 52...

This thing must have more than 20% drive train loss which would put it around 780bhp at the crank...
One VERY fast and powerful E55 left our workshop on Saturday the spec is already pretty impressive with Kleemann Headers, sports cats, full custom exhaust, bigger injectors and split cooling and of course a Weistec blower to set things off.
