whistle

Just found out that If I put car in manual mode I get whistle from engine as I change gear I'm thinking its turbo whistle. Any thoughts what would cause this It not apparent in auto but I'm probably getting the rev's higher.

Not sure which section this should go under as I don't know what part is doing this, any ideas what may cause a very brief whistle when I shut the engine off? Air matic components? Thanks

Guys is it just me or you also have this annoying whistle noise coming from roof rack bars. Mine are oval Mercedes racks for W211 saloons and whistle is almost unbearable especially on long trips.

Hello All I have an old W123 that has in the last 100 miles started to whistle! I don't think it is engine related since it doesn't make a sound when motionless. But from 0-70mph it squeals, and only improves (slightly) under deceleration... I thought it might be handbrake related...
