Oh that SL is tasty. Not, IMHO, a bad price either.

Shame it's a 280. A 500, 600 or 60 would have had me reaching for my cheque book.

What's the betting it will turn up at a specialist for double the hammer price?

the sl was for sale last year on carandclassic by the original owner pretty sure it was 9 grand.looks nice

I'd rather go to mexico and buy an ex police sprinter. They came fitted with a 6L V12...

Probably spends a lot of time parked outside lap dancing clubs at closing time then...

I remember that van in it's original yellow with red interior, when it was for sale years ago at Oakfields race car sales specialist.
It even had matching yellow wheels

The ad doesn't mention it's engine though. IIRC, it had the four cylinder 230 Kompressor motor.

It looks great in it's new colour combo though.

I'm sure the van has been posted on here before. I used to see it parked off Frimley high street for a while, a few doors down from where my friend lives.

The van has definitely been posted before and it was a relatively lowly engine IIRC, not the V6.

The chassis number Datacard shows it is a standard 111979 which is the normal 4 pot petrol used in sprinters with 140bhp. It is essentially the same engine as used in the C230K so maybe AMG did add the supercharger for a little spice (190bhp iirc).
