Got a few minutes to spare? With Christmas coming early, imagine you have today an extra £30k in your pocket to buy any car (not necessarily M-B) available right now on the basis you would have it for 2 years. You can also P/X whatever car(s) have - but list if you do. Post the actual car you'd get. Here's mine.

The new SLC250d fully loaded as an approved used mercedes with delivery mileage only.

Two years ago you cold pick up a perfectly decent one for eight thousand. Then again, 993s are fifty grand now. The 996 was the best thing to happen to them.

Very interesting question

Probably either one of these

E63 Biturbo
F10 M5
740d
New S350d
Maybe an ML or GLE 350d

That SL looks the absolute ********.

Personally, I'd px my W204 and replace it with a W222. :bannana:

True 3 years ago or so no one would give me £10k for an 86 Carrera...more fool them.

Spend half on a used SLK for the Mrs and trouser the rest.

still miss my old German Shepherd :thumb:

We used to have a rescue GSD , Dino , many years ago and he was a belter and i doubt if we could have got another with such a good temperament .

He was due to be destroyed on the 01/01 sometime in the early `90`s so we rescued him on new years eve and i think he knew we were his last hope and he never forgot it and was as loyal as the day was long even when our kids were born he was uber protective towards them even though he had been moved down the family priority list.

Fast forward till 2014 and another rescue hound - Buster.

Second the 928.

500E
450/500 SLC
Citroen SM

Sadly 30 grand is sort of no man's land. I'd really need 60k ...:D

Saw one the other day. I'd forgotten all about them! Realised just how few there are on the roads these days. Used to see them in London all the time in the 80s. Very desirable back then.

Don't ask me why but everytime I see a 928 I think of Steve Davis. I think it was his first serious car when he got a few quid. ;)

I have this to sell for less than £30k, if anybody is seriously interested drop me a line, it is as good as it looks & drives superbly...
