Just changed my insurer, after five years with Hastings - mileage up three times, and added business use - came up cheaper, than the current one, with someone called Hedgehog ... never heard of them either, but seeing it is part of Warren Buffett's empire, I'll give it a go (at least I know they won't go belly up next month).

I’ve used them for pet insurance and they paid out no issues there.

Just another intermediary- they pop up all the time. They are regulated by the FCA, but always worth checking which Insurer they put your business with. I have seen these places put cover with obscure companies registered abroad so not regulated by UK insurance law.
