“Shock” E63 S211 power steering line parts non-availability

Hi all E63 211 / S211 owners and member parts experts.
I recently had my gear box cooling lines replaced at a competent independent who identified slight leaks on 3 power steering lines which I asked them to change. Unfortunately one of the lines is no longer available from Mercedes which is concerning considering it’s a significant and critical part and my car is 18 years old. See the list of lines below. I visited Mercedes Lakeside parts centre and the confirmed the none availability. I searched found a used one eBay and ordered it.

I am not a fan of using used parts, but ordered it in case one can be made by custom auto / racing or other custom parts maker.

I am also checking with a contact a member of AMG club Germany.

I will welcome any comments or suggestions on trying to resolve this problem as this is a heads up to other E63 211/S211 member.

IIRC, often at fraction of the price of a new one from a main dealer.
I first noted this on a Wheeler Dealers tv show where the host Mike went out to some small engineering works who made stuff like that.

Keep us posted, hopefully you'll able to source the parts or have custom hose/lines made to order near oem specs

Gent’s many thanks for your suggestions, I will attach a picture of the used part I ordered on eBay FYI. Once received I could use it to consider asking IIRC and PIRTEK to qoute. Presently the leak is not serious so not urgent, but will need changing.

Ive use Pirtek a few times on car tube/pipework. They usually give their best price if you go in with the pipe for them to copy.
