04 clk 320convertible roof sticks

I've been offered an 04 clk avangarde 320 for sensible money, but the roof goes down no problem but sticks about halfway when closing .

I just wondered if anybody had any ideas on what the problem could be and what sort of costs i'd incur.

I don't want to buy the car and have to spend thousands if the problem could be solved for hundreds.

Probably difficult for anyone to answer as there are a few sensors etc that could be causing a problem. A good independant could diagnose before you buy which would give you an idea of whether the car is a good deal or not before you part with your hard earned

I'd check the hydraulic oil level first of all.
