A mate of mine sold his for similar amount last year. Cant imagine what the insurance would be. But I know mpg is quite low - understandably ;)

What a fantastic second car that'll make.

£23000 practical coupe, reliable unstressed engine, supercar performance and potentially supercar running costs.

Problem with all this stuff is unless it really is a weekend toy, anyone who's running one as a daily driver can probably afford to buy it new.

Is it me or does that driver's seat look surprisingly good for 80k miles?

I'm not so sure - I run my E55K everyday and whilst I can afford it - the depreciation from new would kill me...

My driver seat is a lot better than that on 52,000 miles and nearly 7 years old so it is probably about right...

The leather in AMGs seems to wear very well - not sure if it's a different grade to other 'lesser' Mercs but the drivers seat on my C55 at 70k looked virtually new, the leather in my C43 still looked brilliant at 120k and 12 yrs old.
