Absolutely brilliant day at the track today. Almost perfect conditions at Santa Pod today! New personal best, and I think I might be 2nd fastest 55 car in UK now.

I hurt some feelings today.

There were about 4 BIG power M5s, running 700-800bhp, with ice tanks in the boot etc. There best was an 11.5s. They had much higher speed though haha. Longer track and I would've lost.

Well done Sam was a good time you put down

I only got to do two runs (as I had to be home for the afternoon) with a lot of spin so a lot to work on. My first time at the pod and first time trying the beast out so im fairly happy with my numbers for now.

Good time Alps, With a High terminal like that it's obviously struggling to put the Power down but making it up later down the strip.

Did you knock the tyre pressures down? may help with traction and get you in the 10's. Dam quick terminal lol

Quick times guys! the time is only half of it, from a roll Alps would pull away from your car Sam, but that is to take absolutely nothing away from your car. It is a VERY quick car and will put many to shame.

Smed 1.69 is amazing 60ft time, how the hell you manage that? Semi slicks?

My best was 12.6 @ 116mph with a 2.4 60ft. Sure if i can get a better launch i can get low 12's, so pretty pleased.

I did see a silver E55, and a black E55 with MSL stickers on.

I did have semi-slicks, but not drag tyres, more like regular track tyres. Nankang AR-1s. They worked best for me at about 22psi and a nice long burnout, but tbh not enough track time to get the best launch out of them. Best 60ft I did on regular tyres was 1.9s, but 1.7-1.8 should be doable with practice. Shakey60 got 1.8 on normal street tires.

Ah that explains it a bit heh. Still great runs......Yeah I really need to lower my tyres and do a burnout next time, just don't like doing it lol.

Yep just FBO, stock snails. Traction is the biggest issue. Once rolling its pretty quick.
