On the Beeb News Channel now is a 100 year old Sikh marathon runner.

    He's 100.
He started running at 89 .
He does it all for charity.

His support team are called Sikhs and the City.

It's fabulous on so many levels.

No wonder it took him 11 years to complete (started running it 89):D

Only took him 8hours plus, and he bettered five or so others a lot younger than himself.
I hope he raised a lot of funds.

At least i've quite a few years to go before reaching that age and have to start running.

    I wish.
    Excellent work.

I saw him on the news the other day - apparently he started running again to get over the death of his wife and son.

Sad but certainly inspirational... I'd be surprised if I even reached 89, let alone take up running for 11 years beyond that.
