107 380sl interior restoration

Hi guys, new here and hope you can help

I have a cloth interior in my 380SL and hope to add the jump seats and get the whole lot recovered in leather.

I tried one of the suppliers recommended by the club and they apparently import the jump seats already covered from the US and then try to match this leather when they recover the door cards and the front seats. This means there will be some variation, which I cant live with after having the car for over twenty years

Can anyone recommend an upholsterer who could do the interior both or even supply jump seats and do the whole job

Hi and welcome to the forum, I am sure help will be along shortly.

You're better off buying the jump seat s/h here in the UK and then sourcing the correct leather from Germany. The correct leather has perforations in it that only one supplier I know of is able to provide.

Assuming you are buying a new seat , if you really want to ensure an exact match , why not have it recovered at the same time as the rest of the upholstery ?
