Don't know which version of the Galaxy it was, but if it was the previous shape one (shared with Seat and VW) the V6 versions were reasonably quick. I owned a 2002 VW Sharan V6 and had that up to about 120 mph on the autobahn. Top speed was 135 mph.

Even our current Vito (considerably bigger, and a diesel) has a top speed of 122 mph.
