123 series Booth Lock

Can any member tell me if a lock from a 200T (estate) will fit a 200 Saloon, or if I can remove the Barrel from the 200T and fit it to the 200 Saloon.

What is the actual problem, a lock can be taken apart and cleaned or the internal levers can be swapped over from another lock barrel, not sure if there is a difference between the Estate and Saloon.

I have just bought a set of locks with same key for all, they are from a 200T. I wass't sure if I could interchange the 200T Booth Lock with the 200 Saloon. It appears that I can change Barrel only.

If it transpires that the barrel is not compatible then you should still be able to swap the 10 brass levers over to your existing lock barrel, the will have to be installed in the same order that the are removed or the key won’t work.

Watch out that you don’t lose any of the tiny springs at each lever (pin/tumbler)
