124 Boot

Hi guys,

I'm after a rust free boot for a facelift W124 saloon.

Have seen a few but they are all rusty

Lol, yeah it was fantastic thanks!!! Saw a couple of old MB's in the village we stayed at, pics to follow!! What have I missed??

Jay I have tried a few, could anyone recommend some breakers? I have tried 3 pointed.

Try ebay too.. search for W124 breaking..

Sure I saw a good used 124 boot on on fleabay the other day, cant find it now though!

I think the boot lid is the same on the earlier models except that they don't have the plastic ornamental insert??? part no 134 here. Êàòàëîã

Graeme, coupes and cabs are all the same, but when the model was face lifted, they altered the boot on the saloon, they are all metal, with no plastic fillet on the bottom half, and the handle is chrome in the centre, not like the pre facelift one's with a black strip full width, cheers dave
