Who was I in contact with here who had some information regarding putting the Coupe rear seat into a Cabriolet? Apparently it was being done in Germany, I guess for the wood trim and more substantial seats.

Does anybody have any information on this.......

    Regards to all, W.

I take it you are referring to the seat base, as the tombstones are integral to the backrest?

I think they modify the rear seat so it fits around the tombstones and the seat belt, I'd love to see a picture..........

On a similar tack , I have wondered if anyone had ever fitted the individual rear seats from an SEC into a W126 saloon , or from a W124 coupe into a W124 saloon ?

I have my doubts , but not having measured up nor tried .........

The 500's had Coupe type seats that will fit into a Sedan 124.
