Apologies if this has been asked before.. I did search, honest..

How do you remove the instrument cluster on a 124.

My clocks have a very dim backlight even with brightness on full. I am assuming new bulbs are required?

    Any clues greatly appreciated.

    Regards

    Bruce

    230TE, but mum had a new 230TE in 1984 (W123), (not the same one) mines a W124
The link doesn't seem to want to work anymore: PeachPartsWiki: Instrument Cluster Removal: I looked at it recently but can't any longer..

Jam your hand up under the dash and push it out.

    They aren't fixed.
