124 rear bumper cover removal.

Can anybody please advise if I need to remove the entire rear bumper to change the plastic insert/capping. This is the part (darker plastic) that wraps around the width of the car in the centre of the bumper.

I have a new one and it looks to be retained by several plastic tangs with two dowels on each end.

Just wondering if there is a quick cheat that does not require taking off the entire rear bumper. It's on an estate.

It's held by screws on the inside also Bruce so bumper out job

Guys Myself and Mrs M, replaced the bumper cap today.

Very easy to do if just a bit fiddly undoing the tangs on the old cap. A few 13mm & 10mm nuts each side in the boot cubby's and two central 13mm nuts under the rear floor cover the whole bumper just slides back off. Thanks for your pointers.
