The 12th Day of Christmas.
Well, that's it for another year. We took all the decs down today. No easy task, it took 5 hours from start to finish. Then we cheered ourselves up with a stunning Italian meal at our favourite place in Carlisle.
I must say that after a really difficult and challanging year we have had one of the most enjoyable Christmases ever (not that we've ever had a bad one).
Fun and laughter every day. Great food and the odd glass of something nice. I asked my daughter what was her favourite part of Christmas. "Playing board games with you and Mum" was her reply. The simple things in life eh?
We start getting excited about Christmas at the end of the summer hols. And now it's over we're looking forward to the warmer weather and hopefully as many BBQ's as we can fit in.
