155mph in a C200

I know all three of those bits of road. The A1 and M4 I get but I'm gob-smacked that 7-6 on the M1 was quiet enough to get up to that speed. Must have been in the fifteen minute window in any 24-hours when it's not gridlocked.

155MPH in a C200? Maybe it had lots of engine upgrades or maybe it was actually 155km/h.

I took my old one up to 120mph (legally, I might add). It clearly didn't like it and I backed off. I don't think 155mph is possible.

That is only 124mph. 155mph in a c200 is a completely different ballgame.

He couldn't of been doing 155mph. Maybe the police didn't have there equipment calibrated on that particular day. Still I bet the owner of the c200 is a proud man.

Mercedes claim a top speed of 147mph for a W205 C200 petrol with manual transmission in their brochure.

So 155mph does seem a trifle ambitious.

In 2003, I just about managed a reported 155mph (probably 145 > 150) in a 1997 328i Sport weighing in at 1440kg running 193BHP on the car park ring road motorway in the early hours of Sunday morning.

That was flat out trying and managing to pass a 4 up Sapphire Cosworth.

Maybe the C200 was modified as said as a I doubt it standard...
