16" wheels on S212 E220 Night Edition?

Newbie here, so please be patient if this question has been asked before. I have searched the threads but couldn't find the answer.

I am looking for a second set of wheels/winter tyres for my 2016 E220 Night Edition estate. The wheels it came with are 18" AMG alloys all round. There seems to be plenty of clearance around the brakes so is it possible to fit 16" rims?
The handbook isn't conclusive, mentioning 16" wheels can be fitted but not for cars with the code 950 or P96 sports packs. Does the Night Edition have either of these fitted as standard?

The only Mercedes 16" wheels that fit the W212 are either 16x7.5j or 16x8j and on both sizes the tyres to go for are 225x55x16

The wheels should have an ET46.

Many thanks for the replies and links.
I have checked the option codes with the VIN number and the E220 Night Edition does come with the 950 AMG Sports Package.
It looks as though the smallest wheels that will fit are 17" which is a bit of a shame as I was hoping to use 225/55 16 winter tyres.
