Hi all ,
Looking to get rid of the wheels that my CLK came with , as they are taking up room in the garage. All tyres are 225/45/17's ...
The tyres have held their pressure for 5 months now ( how long they've been in the garage ) so thats good news.
Wheel 1
Wheel is almost perfect , no kerbing . Tyre is ok with about 4mm of tread. The tyre is a ContiSportContact.
Wheel 2
Wheel is almost perfect , just a small chip that you can see in the picture. Tyre is ok with 4/5 mm of tread , again a ContiSportContact.
Wheel 3
There is a small amount of corrosion on this wheel as you will see in thepicture , but nothing horrendous ( it is on the inside of one of the spokes ) . Tyre is nearly new and is a ContiSportContact 2 with 7 mm of tread.
Wheel 4
No corrosion , but it has been kerbed , not massive gouges , just a rash. Tyre is nearly new and is a ContiSportContact 2 with 7 mm of tread.
The wheels come with genuine MB centres ( £40 to buy from MB ) , there are no bends , or dents on the inside of the rims from speed humps or anything like that.
The wheels are totally presentable , but you may wish to have them refurbed in a years time or whenever , but to be honest it's not really necessary. IMO these are the nicest CLK wheels ( after the staggered AMG's ) and really finish the W208 off perfectly. I would have been happy to keep them on my car , but i had a set of AMG's in the garage doing nothing.
Looking for £250
