Hi all - just wondering if I should take some wheels offered to me yesterday. Genuine AMG III 19x8.5" all round, which with our fitting kits would allow genuine AMG 19" to be fitted to the small models. They retail for ~£1600 here and depending on fx rate and shipping would be about £1100 from us.
Also, an immaculate 17" Alhena set with Continental tyres for the W210/S210 and numerous 17" Adharaz (7.5/8.5) sets with or without tyres.
There are some interesting developments here at the moment, and I would welcome feedback on a couple of issues:
1. Wheel refurbishing. I'm considering offering this on all wheels bought from us if the customer wants them to be put to an 'as new' condition. For some wheels, this would be a better than new condition, with a more durable corrosion resistant finish. It would add about £120 per set. OR for all 17" wheels and above, refurbish them anyway and add this to the price to sell a consistent condition product that we don't need to photograph every time a pallet arrives.
2. Part worn tyres. Good (6mm) part worn tyres cost a fraction of the new cost, and for between £100-£200 can put Michelin/Continental/Dunlop/Pirelli on any set of wheels. This is partcularly useful for some of the 18" fitments, where tyres cost far in excess of the rims we are selling. I'm considering either fitting these to the wheels and selling as a package, or offering it an an option and clearly displaying this in our adverts.
Lastly... old website will be lost soon to be replaced by 2 more.. mainly to reduce our reliance on eBay to show our stock. A database driven site with categories to show the stock suitable for your car, and a keyword laden site to get placed in search listings.
