190 - check out the seats

Those are BMW E30 Sports seats recovered in MB cloth.

Wonder if the rear seats are the standard MB version.

They look like they came from a hot hatch 3dr 80's Astra or Escort. You bet the rears are standard.

picked up some parts off this guy a few months back saw the car in the flesh he also had a nice r129 and w124 estate, its a very tidy motor I was stumped on the seats but they are fantastic, the rears were standard but trimmed in the same cloth. just need to ditch the replica wheels and bolt the originals on.

A chap on the 190 forum has a stunning 2.6 carrot with an amazing bespoke interior. Leather everything, dash, door cards, roof lining, parcel shelf the lot. Seats very much like that but leather. Absolutely stunning car. It must have cost an absolute fortune.

He drives around in it wearing a leather gimp suit.

A bit of a thread resurrection, but I just spotted this - it is my Mum's old car in the original post, so I thought I'd join up to add some info - I spec'd it for her (base car and modifications) when I was 18, albeit we had different wheels on it back then

All the mods apart from the stereo (bodykit, suspension, wheels/tyres, seats and steering wheel) were undertaken by Elite. They ordered the front seats direct from Recaro, who offered the OEM cloth as an option to match the standard rears

I remember the car being quite fun to borrow as a youngster...

They look like Recaros to me , which is what I'd expect Duchatelet would have bought in back then ?

Perhaps BMW did the same ?

Edit , just got to the post above .

What's wrong with a leather gimp suit?

Mind you, a matching leather mankini would be a bit OTT...
