The silver one.
Mega powerful 2 litre n/a diesel:D

Picked up today, drove home a treat, crap pic will take some better ones in daylight.

Apparently early series 2 with the diesel engine is very rare.

I liked it as its far from mint but all geniune patina i suppose is the correct term.

Needs a little bit of work but should be done by coming weekend, replace inop dynamo with an alternator and all associated wiring, and fix small leak on the injection pump.

Whoopsie perhaps the title should say 1960 and not 1906?

Slightly better pics, problems to date slight leak from top of rad brass cracked so i will solder that, and ive ordered the parts (e bay usa) to replace the leaking throttle seal on the injector pump.

Drove it to work the other day slightly bumpy to put it mildly:D

Rewired the battery, replaced dynamo with an alternator wired up charging circuit fitted an isolator and a new battery, greenlaning tomorrow in a few of my old haunts.

Next is a good service but that can wait until the docs turn up.

Meant to say how to wash a land rover
1, wet car
2, spray with ctfr diluted
3, use broom to agitate soap
4, rinse done!
