Looks like the scammers have got through ebay users, one to many adverts lately asking email`s for more pictures

Well spotted Mocas.

"....very dry here with low humidity". Scammers can't even be bothered to take out the bits that don't apply.

Everybody, make sure you press the report button on the original listing in post 1.

The account holder in Barry hasn't sold anything for ages. It may be a hijacked account, they often pick ones that haven't been used recently.

Somebody said on one of the other threads that the scam is that they are harvesting email addresses (you have to email them if you want to see more pictures on all these ads). Could it be something else, though? Could they be sending a trojan or a keylogging type programme through the email, as presumably if they do send more pictures you would have to download the attachment.

Seems a lot of trouble to go to just to get email addresses.

Yes, I can't see anyone going to the trouble to hijack somebody's account to advertise a fairly minority interest item, to then harvest email details so they could bombard them with spam. I'd think the scam must involve the scammer in scoring some cash.
