for sale are 2 freshly painted wings for a Mercedes 190e
note i am selling these as i am restoring a 2.3 16v cosworth and they are NON genuine wings, and as such DO NOT line up 100%
they are only out by 1 or 2 mm (seriously no much in it at all, see pictures) but being a perfectionist, i have recently ordered a set of genuine wings to replace them.
im not looking to make money on these wings, just want to recoup some of the money spent on the new wings recently bought and would rather have them go to someone else than sit around in the garage collecting dust.
with that in mind dont be affraid to insult me with an offer
there are probably 3 routes you could possibly take if looking for new wings...
1. non genuine route (how i did)
£60 set of non genuine wings
£100-300 quid cut/mod to fit (almost) nicely, prep cut holes for indicators and paint
2. genuine route
£400 set of genuin wings
£100-200 prep and paint
3. 2nd hand genuine route
£15-50 set of used wings in good enough condition
£100-300 to fill any dents / repair rust prep and paint
but that being said im not looking for anything near those prices!
