Hi, it seems I need to change my fuel pump relay photo below but the numbers are 0001 545 7805 and also Kickdown.
I've been browsing the web for a while and seen absolutely countless replacements but all the new ones have different numbers and no Kickdown wording, as such I don't think I really wish to go down that route in case they do something drastic to the system. Would anyone know if I have to find the identical numbered part please?
Just to add, I went out and tried to start it one day and it did but then died immediately, that was quite a few weeks ago now, there's a spark and there was fuel in the tronic. I could hear the fuel pump working however, if i remember rightly it was making as much noise as it had been while actuating, I also put a multimeter across the relay and got some reading but it was over my head, I bridged them and i could hear something from the pump.... I also tried my spare OVP. So listening to many folks later, I've managed to change the fuel filter to no avail, but since doing so, no noise from the fuel pump. So, took the wires off the pump and put them on a multimeter and with the ignition on, nothing, bridged the relay connections and then showing 12v. So that must be the relay, but I do think the pump ought to be changed at the same time due to it looking like the original anyhow.
