Hi, it seems I need to change my fuel pump relay photo below but the numbers are 0001 545 7805 and also Kickdown.
I've been browsing the web for a while and seen absolutely countless replacements but all the new ones have different numbers and no Kickdown wording, as such I don't think I really wish to go down that route in case they do something drastic to the system. Would anyone know if I have to find the identical numbered part please?

Just to add, I went out and tried to start it one day and it did but then died immediately, that was quite a few weeks ago now, there's a spark and there was fuel in the tronic. I could hear the fuel pump working however, if i remember rightly it was making as much noise as it had been while actuating, I also put a multimeter across the relay and got some reading but it was over my head, I bridged them and i could hear something from the pump.... I also tried my spare OVP. So listening to many folks later, I've managed to change the fuel filter to no avail, but since doing so, no noise from the fuel pump. So, took the wires off the pump and put them on a multimeter and with the ignition on, nothing, bridged the relay connections and then showing 12v. So that must be the relay, but I do think the pump ought to be changed at the same time due to it looking like the original anyhow.

Can't seem to edit this post but this has been answered elsewhere.

Hello OP, not entirely, waiting for a replacement to arrive and just hope it starts, I do have the superseded relay numbers though it isn't cheap from Mercedes.

Min where you buy your pump from ..me and another friend had 2 Bosch fuel pumps each around the same time, and from the same seller .And that failed in under 500 miles .Bosch are not as good as they used to be ,,,,we know ..I am about to replace both my fuel pumps again for the second time , but i dont know what to buy for the best.

Yes it is a dilemma, I was tempted for the cheap relay because the seller has shown it to be suitable but i'm concerned regards the longevity of such items, you know £25 versus £70 or much more, I was also thinking that even buying a second hand one and that it may fail without notice, trouble is, even though some parts are marked as OE they really aren't and are cheap Chinese knock offs and while some are actually really good- like the brake calipers, I'm so worried when it comes to electronics.

I have a good friend on Ebay Tony - Nick phone number is 07936424255.I have most parts from Tony with a very fast delivery ..2 days max
I've bought off a couple on there and elsewhere recently but seem to have communication problems leaving me quite anxious.

Yep , I’m still a member there , having had three 190s , but not so often now as I don’t currently have one .

Pull the cover off and check the solder connections. I recently took mine apart on my 84 500sl and was able to fix it

Hi thank you for the reply my chassis number is WDB2153752A036843 I have found the pre cat once but not the after one

Can anyone help with part numbers of exhaust sensors for a 500 cl 215?
