190E Heater Fan

    Hello All
    My heater fan is squeeking and sometimes stops working, how do I get to it.
    thanks in advance.

    I think its a 92 model

    Disconnect the battery earth strap Remove the plastic air intake cover above the heater plenum chamber that's the "trough" just below the wiper arm. You will have to search for the retaining screws under various rubber sealing strips etc.You should then see a black plastic cylindrical cover held on with 2 screw/bolts the fan + motor is under it. You can then disconnect/ remove it for repair.
