I gotta a bizarre electrical problem - when I put the lights on, (side lights or main headlights, it makes no odds), the wipers come on in intermittent wipe mode. Clicking them into any other position and the wipers continue to function as they should, except there is no difference between "off" or "intermittent" - they stay on intermittent wipe regardless.
Without the lights on, everything is normal. I'm suspecting there is some sort of short between the lighiting circuit and the intermittent wipe feed in the loom or maybe the switch cluster for the stalk, but not sure what's most likely.
Any clues before I burn the motor out or wear the wiper blade out in record time?

PS there is no "rain sensor" on my ole crate...
