These screens are bonded in and can’t really be removed and refitted. You’d never get it out without damage and it would be covered with old adhesive too.
Not to mention an old screen is likely to be scratched to oblivion by the panoramic wiper and peppered with stone chips!
Car is in the bodyshop being sprayed. So chipped screen has been professionally removed. I will get a professional to fit the new screen, just need to get one.
Contacted a few MB dealerships, not available. However MB in Guildford tried a bit harder, I have ordered one with them. It won't arrive until November, but they can get one, so many thanks to their guy Daniel Quest.

They took my money, and said November. This morning they gave me my money back, said Merc HQ said they no longer provide windscreens for the 190e. Terrible service, very annoying.
I keep looking for front and rear screens for my '91 124. I'm interested in original quality but the only available examples come from GlaVista and I have no idea if they are any good.
I suppose that I shall have to be content with whatever I can get.
Have you tried these guys? I recall them making a screen for an older car on one of the TV shows (Wheeler Dealers?). I think they also fitted a heating element to it.
