1970's Breitling chrono

Not my cup of tea, but i can see the appeal, first thing would be to get rid of the chavvy strap. Is it worth £1250? Don't know but my Omega costs £550 more now than it cost me 5/6 years ago.

No wonder it needed restoring, look how he treats his Blackberry!

Be interesting to see what offers were made at the end....

Do you get tattoos to complement the look?

I bought an 816 Navitimer round about 1980 for £175, brand new from a dealer. It was stolen a few years ago (from a repair shop), and the insurance paid me £2,550 as its replacement value!

My Omega was about £175 new back in 1976 ; they seem to sell in the high hundreds or just creep into four figures these days .

I have a Navitimer that i bought when I retired from the Military in 2005. 4.2K then but you need to add 500 now.

Personally, I wouldnt pay that amount for that watch - there are better examples around in second hand jewelers and you will get piece of mind its not stollen or fake.
