Need help! I have a 1972 280se 3.5 saloon its been garaged for years and was my dads which was left to me,I have got it running but when I put my foot down it pops and bangs and stops it seems to be running rich and the plugs are getting black, I have changed the plugs and leads cleaned the dizzy cap and arm but know it does n't want to start at all, I thought I might have had a plug lead on wrong but I have swapped them 2 by 2 but does n't want fire at all, so i have put them back to there original position.If anyone could help it would be appreciated as my knowledge is limited
